This past weekend may have been one of the greatest Fourth of July's ever! After a wonderful dinner with friends (my BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches kicked butt), we made the LONG journey to SH park for the festivities. Fireworks, friends, and fun times ensued. This is completely corny, but there really is something magical about looking at the person you love in the glow light of fireworks. All my life I wished for someone to share holidays and special occasions with, but for some reason the 4th has always been particularly important. There is so much excitement building up to the fireworks show, and for me they are so beautiful to watch while laying in the park under the stars. Enjoying that moment with someone I love is the best feeling, and the last five years have been wonderful.
So I know I bitched about all you July birthdays, but there are definitely some perks to being able to celebrate the lives of so many different friends. Mainly the plus side involves free food, lots o' drinks, and good company. This Saturday was no exception. We celebrated a 30th birthday party of one of our closest friends and I must say it was off the hook! Fo shizzle! I may or may not have done some things that I may or may not regret, but it was well worth it.

I agree! This weekend was jam packed o' fun. I love hanging out with you guys! I'm really glad I got to spend the weekend with you. I wish I had someone special so I could see fireworks reflecting off their face. Ü Just teasing you. But really I wish I had someone to spend holidays with too. You two are lucky to have each other.
wow...i almost cried at the thought of sitting next to the one i love as the fireworks light up their face and reflect their love back on to me...
